ablo has 20 years’ successful experience in upstream oil and gas technology, operations, data management products, services and markets. As President & CEO of Bardasz, he is responsible for leadership, commercial strategy and business development.

Pablo began his career as Software Developer with PDVSA, he joined Petrolink in 2002 and held a range of roles in his 12-year tenure. As Country Manager for Mexico, he was responsible for $60MM in revenues, making Mexico the largest revenue stream for the company. In 2012 Pablo became Chief Marketing Officer for Petrolink where he led the company through a re-brand and global marketing campaign helping to increase the company’s visibility.

Pablo offers global connections and multi-cultural skills. His specialties are business intelligence, strategic marketing, operations and quality conscious, cost-effective business management; he is passionate about technology and connecting it to the commercial marketplace.

Pablo earned a BSc in Systems Engineering from the Metropolitana University of Caracas.

He is the North American Region Lead for Energistics and sits on the board of directors for SPE Gulf Coast Section.

Michael Ritchie

Principal Engineer, Production & Facilities Design

ichael Ritchie is the Principal Engineer for Bardasz Group. In this role he has responsibility for supervising process engineering and project management efforts. Mike has more than 30 years of engineering and management experience in the upstream oil & gas industry working all over the world. He is considered an industry expert in FPSO topsides design.

Mike’s background encompasses process engineering, project/construction management, project development, workover/completion supervision, reservoir and production engineering.

Prior to Bardasz he consulted with oil and gas companies, ranging from independents to super-majors, as process engineering lead for key projects onshore and offshore, internationally and domestically. In these roles he was responsible for all aspects of process engineering and project management. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, and a PMI certified Project Management Professional.

Morris Hoagland

Principal Engineer, Water & Waste Management

orris Hoagland has over 35 years of experience working with environmental protection technologies and over 25 years in the Oil & Gas industry, with particular expertise in produced water and oilfield wastewater treatment. He has worked globally, living in China, Singapore, Scotland, Malaysia, the UAE and Houston, TX giving him strong engineering and international business skills. Since 1990, Morris started up five new divisions within the companies where he worked, namely the new capital equipment engineering business providing upstream produced water treatment systems.

Morris was formerly the Director of New Technologies at CETCO Energy Services. His responsibilities included developing technologies to improve treatment of produced water and to deal with environmental issues in the shale plays targeting solid wastes treatment and wastewater management technologies. From 2006 to 2012 Morris was the General Manager of the Eastern Hemisphere for CETCO Oilfield Services where his responsibilities included operations based in Aberdeen, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Perth, and Dubai.

Morris received BS and MEng degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville. He is currently Vice President of the Produced Water Society and has been a lecturer for the Oilfield Water Management course for the SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers).

Demetrio Michelena

Principal Engineer, Drilling Technology

emetrio Michelena is the Principal Mechanical Engineer for Bardasz Group, he is responsible for Drilling Technology. With more than 23 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry, Demetrio has expertise in managing highly productive and profitable projects around the world.

Demetrio has a strong background in mechanical engineering, project management, operations and sales. Prior to Bardasz, he held the role of Special Project Manager for Polaris Guidance Systems, in Houston, Texas, where he developed and established their oil & gas business in Latin America.

Demetrio has a successful track record in offshore and onshore MWD Operations, Process Optimization, Drill Bit R&D, and Product Validation; he has been recognized for strong customer relations and excellent client service. Demetrio earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Zulia (LUZ) in Maracaibo, Venezuela and holds multiple certifications.
